Palestine in Flames
The film attempts to reconstruct - partly with archive material - the historical-political background of the Intifada: a revolt that has its roots in the 1920s, when due to the colonization of Palestine by Zionist Jews, coming mainly from Europe, ended the centuries-old peaceful coexistence between the three monotheistic religions (Islamism, Judaism, Christianity). In 1947 the UN decided to divide Palestine - then under British mandate - into two states: one Jewish and the other Arab. In 1948, with the creation of the State of Israel, the occupation of Arab lands and the endless series of clashes and wars began.
